Direct trains from Waterloo. Meet at Alton Station in time to catch the 12:00 hrs. to the attractive town of Alresford. Visit the workshops and carriage shed at Ropley or walk around the town and parkland. We will head home at 16:00.

Meet at Alton Station for 1200 to Alresford, arrive 1234.
There is a choice choice of lunch in town or at station for those that want to.
Then stay in town for longer spell in pub or walk by river.
For those that want to visit Ropley which is where the workshops, carriage shed, Kings Cross bridge is. Take the 1400 Alresford to Ropley for one hour then 1515 to Alton.
For those staying at Alresford 1500 to Alton, meet others at Ropley (for those that wanted to visit)
Back at Alton 1539 then train home every 30 mins.
